“Bankia Responde” Bankia’s new Online Transparency platform - providing answers on the management of the company
In July 2017 Bankia launched “Bankia Responde”, a new online transparency platform, which is intended to provide answers and information to the public at large on the management of the bank. Anybody (clients and non-clients) wishing to obtain information about institutional aspects related to the management of the bank, can access the platform and ask questions.

Bankia Volunteer Work
Bankia employees collaborate actively, and in their free time take part in different volunteer work and awareness-raising activities organized by the bank. In 2014, Bankia organised 64 days of volunteer work, timely and continuous, all over Spain, with 456 employee volunteers and their families.
Bankia First Spanish financial sector Dual Training project
Each year, 50 pupils from a school in Madrid and two in Valencia will carry out part of their Administration and Finance vocational training course at Bankia.
Bankia Plant your project
In this annual project, Bankia employees can propose solidarity projects in which they are volunteers and for which they want support.

Bankia has created a tool so that SMEs and the self-employed can assess their digital competitiveness, immediately and for free.
Bankia 2015-2019 Energy Efficiency Plan
Throughout 2013, Bankia made a great effort in the analysis and diagnosis of the energy situation of its office and building network. This analysis culminated, in 2014, in one of the bank’s most important projects, its 2015-2019 Energy Efficiency Plan.
Bankia Contract Simplification
This project results from actively listening to the branches. 195 contract models have been simplified affecting 1,028 products.
Bankia Responsible Management Committee
Bankia Responsible Management Committee was created at the end of 2014, which includes among others, the functions of defining, implementing and supervising Bankia’s responsible management policy, in addition to taking the necessary decisions to help fulfil the company’s strategy in this field.

Bankia offers a set of debit and credit cards provided with social dimension: The NGO Cards.
Bankia pilot programme for vulnerable groups
In 2012 Bankia launched a pilot programme for vulnerable groups with the aim of their social integration by boosting, in particular, their skills for employment.
