Caixa Pollença promotes ethical saving, a model that places ethics and solidarity at the core of finance and economy at the service of the people.
Caixa Pollença promotes ethical saving, a model that places ethics and solidarity at the core of finance and economy at the service of the people.

At the end of 1999, Colonya initiated the project L'Estalvi Ètic, through the L'Estalvi Ètic deposit account book, an account with distinct characteristics:
  • 50% of the interests are transferred by the holder for subsidies (donations)
  • Using the permitted percentage of invested capital for financing (credits, loans, etc.) is encouraged.
Both subsidies and financing must have a clear solidarity ethical purpose.

At the beginning of 2003, in order to expand and improve operability, the L'Estalvi Ètic demand Current Account was created, featuring all the benefits of a current account, but with L'Estalvi Ètic’s main hallmarks.

In 2015, 113 banks on the Islands receive subsidies amounting to €211,929.
