Kärntner Sparkasse - Privatstiftung Kärntner Sparkasse AG and welfare projects

Over the past 3 years (2013-2015) Kärntner Sparkasse AG and Privatstiftung Kärntner Sparkasse (Private Foundation holding 75% of stocks) distribute an amount of € 3.6 million to a wide variety of common welfare projects which embrace small ancient customs as well as big cultural sponsorings or direct social help to indigent families.
Kärntner Sparkasse AG is a regional savings bank founded in 1835 in Carinthia with an aim to finance regional small and medium sized enterprises as well as to manage savings deposits from private customers. From the beginning in 1835, earnings were mainly used to increase Carinthian economics and social standards as well as to support cultural and sport projects. This founding idea is still part of the business model.
