Caixabank Solidarity card micro donations is an initiative to involve customers in the bank’s corporate responsibility strategy and social action projects led by Obra Social “la Caixa”
Caixabank Solidarity card micro donations is an initiative to involve customers in the bank’s corporate responsibility strategy and social action projects led by Obra Social “la Caixa”. The project allows customers to make small amount micro donations each time they perform some of the most frequent card transactions.

Users can configure their preferences through “Línea Abierta” (Open Line), the online banking service. It is the first time that a financial institution in Spain promotes a corporate social responsibility project linked to electronic banking.

In addition, customers have detailed information about the micro donations made and the action being financed with them. Currently, the micro donations finance solidarity projects mainly related to support projects with children living in poverty and international cooperation.
