Kutxabank Financing for SMEs

The European Investment Bank and Kutxabank will allocate 400 million to SME investment projects.
The European Investment Bank and Kutxabank will allocate 400 million to SME investment projects.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Kutxabank have signed an agreement for the financing of SMEs (up to 250 employees) and medium-sized enterprises (up to 3,000 employees) for 200 million euros. The EIB funds will be used to finance investments mainly in the industrial and services sector and will have a positive impact on economic activity and employment.

Kutxabank will contribute an additional 200 million euros to the EIB loan, so that the total amount of financing available will reach 400 million euros.

The aim of this agreement is to support Euskadi’s entrepreneurial fabric business and activity, so that any viable project will not lack the necessary funding, in terms of conditions and deadlines.
