Caixabank Agrobank

In September 2014, CaixaBank launched AgroBank with the aim of boosting growth in the agricultural sector and increasing the relationship with its customers in a segment with significant economic growth prospects in Spain.
In September 2014, CaixaBank launched AgroBank with the aim of boosting growth in the agricultural sector and increasing the relationship with its customers in a segment with significant economic growth prospects in Spain.

AgroBank has promoted the company’s growth in this segment by 7% in the first year since its creation, achieving a turnover of 15 billion euros.

Over the last twelve months, the financial institution has registered more than 53,000 new agricultural customer accounts, the total number of customers being 333,000.

The CaixaBank specialised agricultural sector branch network currently has 578 branches, representing an increase of almost 50% compared to last year.
