Caixabank Carbon Offset

CaixaBank has invested in two energy projects in Colombia in order to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting the environmental impact of the CO2 emissions generated by the company’s head offices in 2013.
CaixaBank has invested in two energy projects in Colombia in order to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting the environmental impact of the CO2 emissions generated by the company’s head offices in 2013, offsetting the 658 tons of CO2 produced by the activity at the offices located on Avenida Diagonal.

The projects financed in Colombia will permit the generation, from sources that do not produce emissions, of sufficient power to offset the carbon generated by the company’s activity.
