BMN YEE and EME Programmes in the Region of Murcia

BMN participates in the programmes YEE (Young European Enterprise) and EME (Emprender en Mi Escuela – Entrepreneurship in My School-) in the Region of Murcia.
BMN participates in the programmes YEE (Young European Enterprise) and EME (Emprender en Mi Escuela – Entrepreneurship in My School-) in the Region of Murcia.

This initiative envisages educational projects carried out to encourage the development of the entrepreneurial spirit in Primary and Secondary school pupils, through the experience of creating and managing mini-companies in the classroom.

It is promoted by the Departments of Education, Culture and Universities and Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation, within the framework of the Region of Murcia entrepreneurship programme (“Plan Emprendemos”).

During the school year, nearly 1,800 5th and 6th grade primary school pupils from 46 schools, and approximately 1,100 secondary school pupils from 40 schools have taken part. Throughout the course they developed all the aspects required for creating and starting a business initiative, from its incorporation, corporate image, financing and, finally, marketing in this regional market, in which 113 regional minicompanies took part.
